To match the Gnoll, Atona came up with the Anchuka, a nature and peace loving canine humaniod.
To match the dreaded Lizardman, she came up with the Dire-Edrudite, a lizardman with druidical skills and a peaceful temperment.
To match the very evil Shaghogin (which is a sea/ocean dwelling reptilian type creature that can breath with gills in water and air via small lungs when on the surface, they were created due to the fact, that in the war of the gods, the godling's dark tongue humaniods were backed to the sea and destoryed. So the dark ones decided to come up with a duel water to surface dwelling creature that was cruel and sadistic.) Atona went to the goddess
of the Elves, Rhiannon and the celitc god of the seas, Mac-Mann-Laras for help. The three came up with the Aquatic elves, Merpeople and Tritons, so that the seas and oceans would have some sort of counter balance.
Atona consulted with Rhiannon on the matter of how to counter the creatures known as
Goblins and Hobgoblins, it was then that the Brownie, Korred and the Moon dog was introduced to the woodlands of the sphere.
Atona still wanted something better and different, for the new creations were superior magically to the Goblins and Hobgoblins, but were really no match for them if cornered
physically, she wanted something that would make the Darklings think twice before engaging it, then, one day .......
A young druidess at the risk of her own life, jumped in on and fought off a whole band of Goblins that had just killed a cougar mother and were working on finishing off the kits.
The girl managed to save the last kit and nursed it back to health, she then decided to raise the cougar kit till it became old enoough to take care of itself.
The cat became her full time companion and champion to her cause, between the druidess's spellcraft and woodland lore and the cats stealth,quickness and power, the two became a deadly force to be dealt with and soon became a legend amongst the farmers and villagers who were the beneficiaries of their deeds against the band of darklings that had been pluguing the area.
The two became inseparable so much so, that the girl never took time to settle in an area long enough to raise a family of her own, the cat was her only source of pleasure and company. The young girl rebuffed many a suitor and finally left for the deep woodlands to concentrate on her spellcraftand communion with the spirits of the natuare gods.
After a period of time though, she, like all humans or any people for that matter, did start to long for the male campionship of her own kind. She prayed and wished to the gods that they wuld send her a mate that was as trusting, loyal and loving as her beloved cougar.
That day,deep in the woodlands of the area she attended, her wish was granted as the spirits of necessities were sent to gather her prayers. Atona with the help of Rhiannon, combined to polymorh the two creatures into one. Taking the best attributes of each and then splicing them into one single form, once this was accomplished, the two were split back into two enties, one male, one female, which were now both half human and half cougar. They also had their blood lines replaced with that of Elven blood, so that they would become magically empowered and enhanced creatures of the forest and kin to the first children of the sphere, the nature children, the Elves.
And so it was that day the first creatures of triple construction were born, the Pummans or changelings as they are now known.
Atona was very excited and pleased with her new beings for they had all the ingredients that seem to make up the perfect nature speicies, for in the cat form, the changeling had the grace, power and animal cunning needed to survive the wildest of the woodlands, while in the Human form, it had the physical strudiness that the Elven people lacked , yet contained the magical capabilities and natural beauty of the Elven side that the Human side lacked.
A new Celtic breed that could even challenge Loki's giants humaniod forms, such as the Orge , one on one.
The changeling adapted well to the eniroment of the earth and it's woodlands, it also was now a feared advisory by the tribal Goblin and hobgoblin bands that happened to roam where they were not supposed to be. Atona then went on to create to more types of Changeling forms, that of the wolf and the bear.
