A "Lazarus" gizynopsis

Pay attention,now,this one will make your head hurt. The biggest mystery here is, what the hell was Scully doing at a bank stakeout in the first place??

But there she is, with hunk-a hunk-a Mr Intensity FBI guy Jack Willis, she's making schmoopy-eyed concern about his dedication to closing this string of bank robberies, he's gnashing his teeth and twitching his shoulders, but it's Scully who oh, so cooley BLASTS the robber when he does,indeed, show up, and stupidly waves his gun in Scully's face.

Alas, the bad guy, Dupree, blows a hole in Willis big enough to let a spirit in.(?) At the hospital, Scully plays Jumpin' Jack with the cardiac paddles, and Dupree also does the hootchie gootchie, even though every one is ignoring him. Jack is revived,but we see the tattoo fading from Dupree's arm, and when Jack later awakens, there is a tattoo on HIS arm, and he goes to the morgue and cuts Dupree's finger off, to get his wedding band.

Ah-HA!! Jack is now Dupree, and Dupree is SHOCKED when he sees himself in a mirror...cool, not only alive again, but taller and better looking. DupJack is acting wierd, Mulder is suspicious, although he never met this guy before, and he cross examines Scully, who admits that she and Willis have a "past", and even had the same birthday...ah, the cock, I mean, the PLOT thickens.

Mulder leaps to the unbelievable conclusion that Dupree's spirit has entered Jack's body, and fills Scully in on the wonders of near death experiences, watches stopping, magnetic fields yadda yadda yadda. Scully dons clasic "Mulder, you're nuts" face, but Mulder tests his theory by presenting a "birthday card" to Jack to sign for Scully, although their birthdays are past....Jack also signs with his left hand--DUPREE was left handed.

DupJack goes to find his acomplice and love of his life, Lula, pesty old Scully MUST go, too, they do, indeed, find Lula, Scully KICKS ASS, but DupJack turns on Scully, ordering her to don the handcuffs. Scully looks puzzled, Jack was never THIS kinky, and she's even more puzzled when he handcuffs her to the radiator, she was rather hoping for that four poster bed. Scully finally realizes what is going on as DupJack makes schmoppy talk to a totally confused Lula, Scully tries to reach what is left of the Jack-consciousness by detailing an incredibly erotic snow-bound trip they shared.

DupJack is now experiencing Willis' flashbacks, as well as his own, and is REALLY fucked when Jack's body rebels by going into diabetic shock (how come the body remebered it was diabetic, but NOT that it was right-handed???) Lula shows HER true colors by denying DupJack insulin, SHE was behind the stakeout all along, hoping to escape with ALLLLLLL the money. She contacts the FBI, demanding ransom for Scully, whom Mulder calls "Dana" TWICE (maybe someone else is in THERE, too....)

Mulder goes into FFSM (Frantic Find Scully Mode), and gets to play with some FBI sound toys, they isolate background noises,and BUST in, just as Jack is dying AGAIN.

But he's FAKING, and gets the gun from Lula, blows her away, and then really DOES bite the big one, the tattooo disappears, and Scully looks sad, Sad, SAD. she also realizes that Jack's watch has stopped at the exact time that he originally went into cardiac arrest, and wonders what it means. Mulder tells her it means "whatever you want it to mean"

He doesn't know what the hell happened here, either.
