"I like dreamin', cos dreamin' can make you mine...."

Mulder hears Tinkerbellish music and sees this cool dancing red light, he follows it, and finds a dead kid. This is definitly not the K-mart special....oh, WAIT, he's DREAMING, but he has some cool FBI dead guy finders come to the woods he saw in his dream, and TA-DA!!!! They FIND a dead kid!!! I wish I could get Mulder to dream of my missing glasses...

Back at the office, with Mulder still dressed in his cool t-shirt, Mulder tells an I'll-listen-but-I-think-you're-nuts faced Scully that he worked on this case YEARS ago, where young girls were being murdered and a piece of their clothing taken in the shape of a heart. Mulder had profiled the killer as a traveling salesman, and when he was caught, he WAS a salesman, a Vacuum Cleaner salesman. That really sucked. Mulder had always wondered if they had found ALL the victims, 'cos they had not found the cloth hearts. In still another leap of logic, they find the kid who had bought the killer's car, and rip the car to smithereens, Mulder remembers a reference in his dream to the Mad HATTER, which makes him rip up the CAP to the car, I guess if he'd dreamed of Mr SHOE, he would have slashed the TIRES....but he DOES find the hearts, and there are two more vicims than they thought.

They go to the prison and see this killer guy, John Lee Roach, I KNOW it's Roche, but he ACTS like a ROACH, what a creep. He plays with Mulder's head, Mulder wears his GLASSES to do research , the Tinkerbell light comes back, and leads Mulder to the scene of Samantha's abduction, but this time, it's ROCHE who takes her, Mulder screams "SSAAAMANNTHAAAA!!", he was sleeping, but this MAY be real, right??

Mulder goes back to the prison and confronts Roche. Roche tells Mulder he sold a vacuum cleaner to Mulder's creep father and was in Mulder's hometown in '73, when his sister disappeared. Mulder is so undone, he can't talk, so he KNOCKS Roche right out of the chair, it is WAY cool, but Scully has seen it, and she is way PISSED. While Mulder makes major angst faces, Scully tells him that he is dredging up all these wierd dreams because he is so vulnerable, no shit, Agent Sherlock. "He's playing with you, Mulder, and you're letting him" Here, Scully, play with **this**.....

Mulder goes to his had-a-coma-inducing-stroke but is now physically fine mother's house, she, of course, cannot remember what the hell happened to her daughter, but she remembers a vacuum cleaner she hasn't seen in 20 years, it's UNDER THE STEPS, and it is indeed the model Roche told Mulder about. Roche tells Mulder where to find another victim, that MAY be his sister, Mulder ANGST faces and asks Scully to HELP him dig in the dirt with their hands, they FIND a body, Mulder makes BIG TIME MAJOR-MAJOR angst FACE with the pitiful little skeleton, but it is not Samantha, 'cos it's shoulder isn't broken.

Mulder springs Roche from jail and takes him to Martha's Vineyard, Roche tells Mulder ALL the details of the night Samantha was abducted, but Mulder calls him a LYING STUPID SON OF A BITCH, cos they are in his FATHER'S house, see, there IS advantages to broken families. Back at the hotel, Mulder has another dream that Samantha is in the parking lot, he looks happy, Happy, HAPPY, 'till he wakes up handcuffed to the table, Roche is gone, and now SKINNER is pissed. Mulder remembers that Roche was talking to a little girl on the plane, they go to the day care center, and find that someone posing as Mulder TOOK the kid.

The whole friggin' FBI goes to Roches apartment, he isn't there, but in a mental leap I STILL don't understand, Mulder looks out the window and sees a streetcar graveyard, deduces Roche is there,and low and behold, THERE he is!! Mulder and Roche play a game of "betcha won't shoot her" with Roche's gun trained on the kid, Mulder has the kid count to twenty, apparently a countdown for Roche's life, cos as the kid approaches twenty, Roche looks like he is about to squeeze the trigger,so Mulder BLASTS his brains all over the window.

Later, Mulder is in his office, contemplating the last unidentified heart, Scully comes in and calm-faced schmoopy talks him, Mulder chuckles sexy-sad and HUGS Scully's belly, Scully leaves, Mulder looks speculative.He is thinking of later, when he will go to Scully's apartment, and they will reenact that scene where Mulder is handcuffed, and Scully will use her OWN special powers.....

I think...no, I better not........
