Title: Miracle
Man Reviewed by Gizzie part of Gizzie's Deli on EP "Miracle Man" by GizzieThe kid from the Hellmann's mayonaise commercial puts his hand on a guy who's cooked to death, and the guy comes bak to life..maybe it was "Miracle Whip".... Ten year's later, no-nonsense Scully shows cute, sunflower seed eating Mulder a tape of a tent ministry, where this kid, growed up some, is trying to heal people, but they are dying. Oops. They go to Tennessee, where everybody talks like Deputy Dawg, and the sherriff's wife has arthritis, but she's not the same sherriff's wife from "Needful Things", and Sherriff IMNOFOOL himself thinks Samuel is a scamuel. Hard to telll, cos he's disappeard. Samuel shows up in a bar, where he says his gift has been corrupted, probably by the cleavage and beer in abundance, but he still KNOWS STUFF,he just DOES, including the fact that Mulder has a painful SECRET (not the one involving the black lace garter belt), and Mulder makes angst face, and Scully doesn't have an answer, which is the biggest miracle of all. At the bail hearing, Samuel does NOT want to get out of jail, so he makes the courtroom buggy. M&S go talk to PaHartley, and Mulder SEES his sister Samantha, but she has WAY better hair than in "Conduit", ANOTHER miracle. PaHartley calls another show, and M&S go and look bored and skeptical, 'till Mulder ses his sister AGAIN, and while he is off looking for her, Samuel lays hands on a young woman, and she croaks. M&S talk to her dad, to get him to allow an autopsy, and in an incredibly UST filled scene, Scully confronts Mulder about what he is seeing, cos she thinks he's losing it. In to-die-for goggles and mask, 11:21 pm, Ginsu Scully sharpens her knife and makes the BIG CUT, while Mulder almost loses his lunch, but Scully must be pretty good at this, cos despite the fact that she concludes this woman was indeed poisoned, the woman turns up three years later as Max's girlfriend :) M&S think that someone is framing Samuel, and they figure it's flat-face Vance when they find his name, LOOOKIE HERE, on an invoice for an agricultural supply firm, where he bought a LOT of grasshoppers. Meantime, the sherriff stuck two rednecks in the cell with Samuel, and they beat him to death, but Samuel appears to Vance anyway, and scares him into poisoning HIMSELF. Samuel apparently walked OUT of the morgue, I wonder how uncomfortable it must be to walk with a toe-tag on. Scully tries to 'splain away everything by saying people see what they WANT to see, and Mulder choses this moment to have another Samantha-sighting, and angst face the camera.
